A new version of Shipstream Manager, v12.1.01, was released on January 3, 2012 and is now available to all
current ShipStream customers. The list below details the top new features and changes. Please
follow this link to upgrade to the new Shipstream Manager.
Version 12.1.01 January 3, 2012
- Added support for new Express Mail Flat Rate Box.
- Added support for new Priority Mail Regional Rate Box C.
- Added support for cubic pricing for alternative packaging (that is, soft pack or padded envelope).
- Added support for Commercial Plus Pricing for First-Class Package Service (only available on a case by case basis).
- Applied Intelligent Mail package barcode (IMpb) to all packages and parcels as required by USPS. Restricted smaller label layouts to cards, letters, and flats that cannot accommodate the IMpb.
- Removed fee for Delivery Confirmation for all competitive products and First-Class Mail.
- Transitioned from First-Class Mail Parcel to First-Class Package Service terminology.
- Changed service indicator on labels from FCM to F for First-Class Parcels.
- Added support for retail rates for Regional Rate Boxes.
- Added support to allow Parcel Select Nonpresort to be rated up to 70 lbs. in weight and added an oversized category.
- Added support for Priority Mail with Return Receipt with Adult Signature extra services.
- Changed Express Mail signature option default from Waiver of Signature to Signature Required.
- Separated and differentiated between Express Mail Sunday Delivery and Holiday Delivery
- Modified XML interface to include node and attributes (See XML documentation for details).
- Modified the country Tonga to be eligible for Express Mail International.
- Added Commercial Plus Pricing for international mail classes.
- Updated the SDR conversion value.
- Modified Endicia Insurance rates.
- Modified small international labels DYMO Endicia logo to be removable.
- Restricted the use of obsolete international labels in DAZzle. Warning message will appear with every tenth print.
Version 11.5.01 October 5, 2011
- Made multiple changes to large international label layouts with integrated customs form:
Consolidated multiple label layouts into one layout named "International Label-Large". This layout supports customs form 2976-A in both Express Mail and Priority Mail.
- Made multiple changes to small 6X4 inch international label layouts with integrated customs forms:
Added support for Express Mail.
Reformatted customs form for easier reading and new postal requirements.
Consolidated multiple label layouts into one layout named "International Label-Small 6X4". This label supports customs forms 2976 and 2976-A for First-Class Mail International, Priority Mail International, and Express Mail International.
PBShip will automatically choose the appropriate customs form (2976 or 2976-A) based on postal regulations, except for Express Mail (see USPS Country Listing for requirements on each country).
- Modified domestic label layouts to print last address line (City, State, ZIP) in bold font to help the USPS optical sorting machines.
- Modified the End User License Agreement.
- Resolved various other issues.

- Fixed an issue that when reprinting Flat Rate Padded Envelope labels, "Parcel" is printed on labels.
